Review on New York Cafe & Bar

Im finally very excited to start reviewing some restaurants! For the next few weeks most of the restaurants you will see will mostly be in Hong Kong, since I will be stayin in Hong Kong for my holidays! This months review is in Yuen Long and the restaurant is called "New York Cafe and Bar"

This place is really western compared to the other European or American restaurants, this place is in Yuen Long's Transport Plaza near the N.T's biggest mall called YOHO I/II. This place looks like a bit of a pricy restaurant but when I looked at the memu it was super cheap.

The prices were a shocking $49 HKD which is less than $10 AUD for a Char grilled spaghetti that looked really fancy.Not only is it cheap but it includes a daily soup and a drink. The daily soup today was a creamy chicken soup which was quite nice and it came along with some breadsticks to accompany. There were also many other things on the menu like Sole fillet and Steak for all less than $100 HKD which is only 18 dollars for a nice quality steak or sole fillet.

One thing I disliked about it was the seating plan there were chairs in places that would limit the persons amount of space and made them so close to the table. They have tables/chairs in places that take up alot of space and a I think overall they did not really put any effort into the seating plan.

The customer service was not exceptionally well. They did not smile that much and were really monotonus which gave me a bad impression of the restaurant when I first went in. They felt like they were forced to do the job, they what so ever have no enthusiasm in being a waiter.

But overall its not too bad, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5, the prices were really inexpensive and I didn't ever imagine of their restaurant serving that high quality food.But the customer service did let it down a bit as it ruined my first impressions, but I do reccomend you going!
